Heartstroke
Heatstroke is a condition caused by the body overheating, usually as a result of prolonged exposure to or physical exertion in high temperatures.
Dogs and cats are not exempted from this condition. They are at greater risk from heat stroke (especially Brachycephalic breeds).
To prevent this, always provide fresh water and keep them in a cool and well ventilated area. Avoid to walk them during the peak hours of the sun and allow them to rest.
These are the common breeds who are at risk of heatstroke but keep in mind that all breeds are at risk of heatstroke due to the high heat index nowadays.
Keep safe everyone!!!
